When we were playing with Ben for warm ups we did octopus, flag tag and truck and trailer. It was fun playing soccer with Ben. We learnt some skills like dribbling, passing, stopping, kicking and throwing. After all of us have done our warm up we learnt skills. We had games and tournaments too. It was so much fun and I learnt heaps of new and cool skills. THANK YOU BEN!

Room 9's Stardome visit

Room 9’s Stardome Visit

On Thursday, the 9th of May, the Senior School went to the Stardome in Greenlane. We went to the Stardome on a bus with Rooms 5 and 8.

First we went to inside and waited for the Stardome Educator to come and talk to us. Then we looked at the Observatory and we learnt about space travel.

After that we watched a movie on outer space. Later on we went outside and we walked around Stardome and  we  played in the playroom with the planets.

Lastly we went into the space room and the Educator talked to us about the planets.

Finally, we came back to school at one o’clock.  I  felt very excited because I had learnt a lot about planets.

The Lord's Challenge

One of the stories that caught my attention on my first week back at School for Term 2

Wizard Dark Flung by Dylan Owen

This story is about three children who worked together as a team to win a challenge from their dad who was called Lord Dark Flung. The characters in the story are Sophie, Anna, Tom and  Lord Dark Flung.

This story takes place at Lords Dark Flung’s house.
I think this story is cool and wonderful because the three children worked very hard as a team and they outsmarted their dad who was wicked.
